Privacy Policy


The National Council of Building Review, Inc., (“Company"), respects the User’s (“User”) privacy. This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") is to explain how the Company may use and protect the personal information gathered from and about Users by means of Company websites, mobile applications, and other third-party sources. By using Company’s website or mobile applications, User consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of User information, as described in this Privacy Policy.

The security of the User’s information is very important. For certain transactions on the website, Company may use Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to secure the transfer of information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. As a result, while Company strive to protect User personal information, Company cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted over the Internet. Once Company receive User information, Company take steps that Company believe are reasonably appropriate to protect its security, both internally and from outsiders, from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, and to ensure the integrity of the collected data. User may provide Company with certain information in connection with agreements. The information Company may collect includes but not limited to:

  • User name, contact information, professional experience
  • Project data and drawings
  • General information provided by User

Company may provide the User on the website the ability to refer others to Company services by entering their name, email and other contact information. Company may use such information for marketing. User must have obtained the consent of any person before making such submissions. User consents that by using any referral functionality on the website, the User name and email address can be included in the communication sent to the person being referred.

Company may use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To assist with preparing a proposal or other agreements.
  • To communicate with User.
  • To compile User preferences.

Company may combine the information submitted by User with information related to User agreements with Company. Company may also combine this information with data received about User from third parties who assist Company in processing requests, maintaining data, and optimizing services.

Except where prohibited by law, Company may retain collected information for commercially reasonable periods of time. Information collected for a specified purpose will only be used for that purpose and, after a reasonable period of time, will no longer be actively stored when that purpose has been fulfilled. Inactive data may, however, continue to be used for statistical, marketing, archiving, and other analytical purposes.

Company may disclose the collected information from and about User to our partners for the purpose of executing agreements with the User. Company affiliates and subsidiary employees in IT, marketing, operations and customer service divisions may use User information.

Company may disclose User information to other third parties:

  • when required by law or in response to legal process;
  • without legal process in response to a request from law enforcement relating to a criminal investigation;
  • to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, or of the public;
  • for administrative, technical support or other business purposes to facilitate tasks with User, analyze our data, conduct mobile analytics services, or to maintain and improve the services (subject to confidentiality agreements as appropriate);
  • to enforce the terms of any agreement;
  • if the rights of another individual might be violated
  • otherwise with User consent.

User information may also be subject to transfer without notice to another company in the event of a transfer, change of ownership, reorganization or assignment of all or part of Company’s businesses or assets. This will occur provided that the parties have entered into an agreement under which the collection, use and disclosure of the information is limited to those purposes of the business transaction, including a determination whether or not to proceed with the business transaction.

Company and our partners use cookies, etags, HTML5 storage and similar technologies on the website and in promotional emails which Company may send to User. Company use these technologies to monitor and understand User use of our websites and services; improve User user experience.
